Chaplaincy

What is a chaplain?
A chaplain is a spiritual caregiver who reaches out to anyone in need.

What does a chaplain do?
In the midst of crisis and change, it is difficult to process pain and trauma. A chaplain meets people at the moment of crisis and understands how to navigate through complicated struggles in order to help individuals successfully journey from the present normal to a new normal.

MBC’s Chaplaincy Program
MBC’s newly instituted chaplaincy program is a ministry of purpose, presence, and peace focused on providing sacred care to those in need in our church body. If you are looking for hope and certainty during a time of crisis, we encourage you to reach out to our equipped care force for help. Crisis happens! Let us walk through it with you. Email Boog Childers or Bonnie Hudson at [email protected] or call 432-684-9722 for more information or to have a chaplain assigned to you.
